The Memorial Day trip to Treasure Cay was a great success, with 25 members and guests, and eight airplanes. Check the photo gallery for pictures (to be posted this afternoon).

Thank you, Bob & Marsha Inman for your 5th Bahamas trip in the past six years.

Our next meeting is the annual picnic scheduled at Carol Comer and Rick Januszewski’s Mallard’s Landing Saturday June 18th between 11am and 2 pm. For those who missed last years picnic you missed a great time. The club will furnish hamburger, chicken breasts, buns and fixin's, cold drinks, etc while call girls will help try to prevent covered dish duplicates. The suggested covered dishes are salads, vegetables, deserts etc. Note the directions for flying and driving in this letter.

Sheri Platt reports a few more slots are left for the Amelia Island trip July 8-10. This is a trip you can drive, if you must, Fernandina Beach has a great airport (55J) with four active runways. Sheri and Paul have big plans for a great time. We will be in the Historic District at the Hampton Inn. On May 24th the block of rooms not reserved were released. Call Sheri, in hopes you will not be left out. I understand she has included a romantic Moonlight Cruise.

Not signed up? You need to hurry to be part of the gang flying with Nolan and Nancy Hanson August 19-21st to Gettysburg. You can catch Nolan at nhansonn@aol.com to get onboard. They are in Minnesota, but read their email. I understand there is a good crowd going.

Sam DiGiamarrino will again lead “The Great Southeastern Air Tour” to Alabama. This is a great way to really know each other. Don’t get left out on this super event.

In November Harold Bost, former Bonanza Society President will lead a trip to Tullahoma for the Beechcraft Museum and the Jack Daniel Distillery Visit. Any samples Harold?

Looks like a fun year to me.  Lets all support as many of the events and meetings as possible. I appreciate all the hard work of our Trip Captains, and Meeting Hosts in putting our 2005 program together
