July NewsletterGeorgia FlyersChairman's CornerPicnic Report
Amelia Island TripSadly the hard work of Sheri and Paul Platt was wiped out by Hurricane Dennis. After looking at the outer bands and resultant weather for the return flight the trip was scrubbed. Paul and Sheri have since been contacting members to setup some one day close by trips to restaurants and interesting locations. This popup trip is a great way to get to know other Georgia Flyers better and not have weather wipe out fun group outings. She will be contacting the membership to join them. As we test our future group activities, I feel they have a great idea for regular social flight outings.
Gettysburg Trip
Not signed up? You need to hurry to be part of the gang flying with Nolan
and Nancy Hanson August 19-21st to Gettysburg. You can catch Nolan at
nhansonn@aol.com to get onboard. They are in Minnesota, but read their
email. I understand there is a nice group of over 30 making the trip.
Come join us for a great time.
