I am delighted to be the
new president of Georgia Flyers. We've got a great year ahead of us
and I'm very excited about our upcoming kickoff meeting. 2007 was a
very successful year for our club. Ron Deering did an outstanding job
of directing our growth and mission to better attract new members and
provide our existing members a wider variety of activities including the
successful socials held throughout the year. Trips were well attended
and I believe everyone had a great time.
Renewal Reminder.
Please remember to forward your club renewals to Paul Gunderman.
Keeley mailed out forms in early December. Any changes should be noted
on the form and returned along with your check to Paul. The deadline
for the $40 renewal fee is extended to the kickoff meeting. The
renewal fee goes to $45 after January 27th.

You won't want to miss our kickoff meeting on January 27, 2008 from 12:30 to
3:30 at the Hudson
Grille, 4046 Peachtree Rd, NE, Atlanta, 30319 - 404-233-0313. Hudsons
is directly across from the Brookhaven MARTA station and just around the
corner from PDK. If you would like to fly in to PDK,
arrangements can be made to meet you at Atlantic (formerly Mercury Air) on
the East Ramp. The 2008 calendar of events/meetings and trips will be
revealed.

with lemon-caper mayonnaise and your chocie of side

with black beans, Jack and Cheddar and Cohita cheese,
guacamole, and pico de gallo

payable to Georgia Flyers, Inc. will be collected at the door.

Lunch-Bunch News. The final lunch bunch of 2007 turned into a
great day for flying. While Atlanta was in the 50's at departure,
Jekyll Island was in the 70's upon arrival. Several shirtsleeves were
evident and most of us had to discard the lovely Christmas sweaters as it
was just too warm. 14 planes and 40 people enjoyed the award winning
brunch at the Jekyll Island Club. Pictures are posted in the photo
gallery section of the website.
The
first Lunch Bunch of 2008 will be to Daniel Field in Augusta on January 19th
